Morning got up with red eye, left eye has become red, watery,..having burning sensation with itchiness . N feels little sticky

Its been 20 days recovered from covid .and no usage of steroids during the recovery period And now today left eye became red And had eye drops and became less And no redness in the eye Some irritation and itcy like feeling in eye what may be the reason

Been facing dry eye problem for 9 years Inner corner (lacrimal caruncle or area near it) burns while applying artificial tear drops. Need to apply artificial tears 8 to 10 times because of it.
