My mother is suffering from Retinitis Pigmentosa from past 17 years.. Eye sight is deteriorating day by day... Is there any treatment available as of now??

Steroid reduce immunity..When u use a steroid Eye drop will it reduces immune system around eye or whole body?let me know!

Hi, I have severe asthma. Doctor prescribed me foracort. Due to which I got cataract in my both eyes. I am facing so much challenges in night driving. If light falls in my I will get very blurred vision. Doctor suggested surgery. Is there any possibility I can reduce/cure my cataract. If I need to opt for surgery should I go for monofocal or trifocal lens?

Hi Doctor, One of my eye becomes red color from last 1 week. Intial stage I felt water drops came from my eye. I showed to eye doctor, he told which is due to bacterial infection and suggested for eye drop (moxicip-5times per day)..some days after water drops are stopped, But still my eye is in red color. Also Sometimes I feel etching in my eye. Pls suggest me what can I do now??

Hi, in 2019 I was diagnosed with the begining of posterior vitreous detachment in both eyes. My power in both eyes is -2.25. The symptoms was floaters in both eyes. Along with that I have mild opthalmic migraine triggered by stress. As it's been more than 2 years since the diagnosis and the fact that I was unable to get a checkup done in last year due to intermittent lockdown which is still prevailing in my state, am I still at risk of any retinal abnormalities? I read somewhere for patients with PVD traction on retina due to the process of detachment is the only risk for which annual check up is mandatory. I also read the process of PVD gets completed in few months and then risk of traction is minimal. Is that true, it's been more than two years, my floaters have not significantly increased and I do not know whether any flashes happened as I don't recognise them. Am I still at any risk? Just in a lot of stress due to my anxiety.

My eye power is -7.5 sphe. -0.75 cy and -9 sphe,-1.75 and two year back it was -8.00 and -8.5...am i eligible for lasik
