Eye Care & Problems

I am from South Africa but want to travel to India to get LASIK for both my eyes. And I am looking for a good doctor and hospital to go to. To help me make my decision, I have had an eye test from a very reputable local eye clinic which, the results were very positive:  my cornea is 550 microns and all is healthy regarding the optic nerve cornea, cornea pressure. I have never worn contact lenses etc, and have no glaucoma.  Is there a way I can can a better idea of the expected cost range, with this information? etc, and have no glaucoma. Is there a way I can can a better idea of the expected cost range, with this information? Itching and burning sensation from last one week in both eyes. Some times it stops on its own . Please suggest

Whether dryness of eyes is permanent?? Isn't there any permanent cure for this problem??

I have high myopia havin 15 and 17 power. I also have coats disease. Are studying 12-13 hours in a day for CA course is harmful for my eyes.

I had LASIK 3 months ago. My pre LASIK power was -8 and -6 ( including cylinder) both eyes. I had 15° exotropia in my right eye, doctor recommended me pencil push-up exercises for that, now that exotropia is improving. My eye sight in right eye was not as clear as my left eye, but during follow up, my right eye had some cylindrical power left over in my right eye, and the doctor said that due to this left over cylindrical power , I have a slight blurry vision in that eye, and exotropia has no major role in it. He recommended me to wait till 2 months more and prescribed me to increase the frequency of lubricating eye drops and what I am seeing is, my vision is right eye is improved when I put drops in my eye but after some time, it comes back to slight blurry. What should I do? My current power is -0.25 right eye with -2 cylinder and left eye -0.5 with -0.25 cylinder. Doctor also said before operation that my right eye cornea surface has irregular thickness and some power will be left

Hi, My uncle has degenerative myopia. Have consulted with many ophthalmologists what i get an answer is this is not curable anywhere is the world. Can anyone help me with this treatment if available. We are ready for eye surgery
