I have a deep corneal scar
I recently had an eye injury and sufered from deep corneal abrasion which has resulted in a scar. My vision has reduced to 6/18 but my biggest problem is the scar. I visited AIIMS where the doctor said he wont be able to do anything if it scars, maybe due to lack of corneas. Another doctor said to avoid it due to risk factors, but I want to know is it at all possible to do a full thickness corneal graft?

Your vn is 6/18 which is decent. More problem with corneal scar is glare due to scattering of light. Full thickness graft is possible but sinve somebodys else cornea will be transplanted, there are always chances of rejection in which case there may be severe loss of vision. Ill suggest u to go fr an asoct scan to see the depth of scar and laser removal of scar if possible
