Today morning I took my mother for fasting sugar test , it shows 186. What should be the next option I go for?

I went to the dr yesterday and she told me that i have diabetes. My hemoglobin number is 6.3 which is right on the cusp. is this a for sure thing now or should i get another opinion. I really dont want the disease. I am on prednisone for polymialgia 8mg and I also just got eczema so im taking a topical steroid cream for that too. she is also starting me on lisinopril

Hi my husband has diabetes from past 4 years and he is taking Glador M1 in the morning and Arkamet IPR 850 at night. Now in recent lab test his fasting glucose level is 105 and postprandial is 177. Can he continue the same medication or shall change.

My fasting glucose reading is around 100-105 from last 2 years. I do walk regularly and weight is around 72 and height is 5ft 10 inch. Also eating outside is very rare.
