Doctor saab I have a TSH 8.3.my doctor recommended me thyronorm 25mcg tablets. Is it better to get rid of this problem

I am a diabetic for last 18 years and presently taking GLI M Galvus 50 mg Teniva M Can I have two pegs of whiskey once a month ? Can I 4 dates and a spoon of honey ?

TSH level: 0.18 (ref range: 0.27-4.20), FT4: 2.84 (ref: 0.8-19)... Ultrasound conclusion: 1) normal appearing of both love of thyroid gland except for 1 to 2 seedling ill defined nodules on right side. 2) needs clinical correlation with t3,t4 & TSH level.. my question is that does I have any issue in my thyroid? Is this seedling can heal or go? Does treatment continue for life. Is it create temporary illness and medications? Does condition last for life and treatment too? What I have? Confused
