My mom is having one wound in left leg big toe finger, now it became black color,am doubting it could be Gangrene, and more over she don't have any sugar issues. Could u please let me know which specialist can I approach.

I am a diabetic with hb1ac of 8.my doctor prescribed me glycomet 1 gm sr twice a day.after taking i am having bloating problem and acidity.is it normal.

I have never been diagnosed with blood sugar but recent full body checkup shows following: Blood glucose (fasting) - 229 mg/dl Hb1ac - 10.2% Vitamin D - 8.44 ng/ml. Also triglycerides etc are fairly high. Can it be a momentarily increase in blood sugar due to poor routine and diet and can be controlled by diet etc. or is it a case of any type of diabetes?

I was diagnosed as a diabetic in 2006. I was prescribed glycomet 250 Mg only in the MORNING.  Over the years I started taking same tablet in the night also. From past 3 years the fbs ranges from 130 to 160 and ppbs from 140 to 250. Can I change the tablet to GLYCOMET GP 0.5 FORTE or please suggest any other tablet to control my BLOOD SUGAR.

Iam47year old diabetic neuropathy patient. My last clinical test was on10thaug this year. My test report is like that hba1c 5. 9.creatinine label 0.9.that time I take metformin hydrocloride500mg twice a long with novomix30. Twice before breakfast and dinner 18 and 12 unit. And lantus 20 before bed. After that my doctor suggested me to take novomix30 before breakfast18 and before dinner12and lantus18 before bed along with transpire m30after breakfast. My problem is that recent report shows my hba1c raised from 5.9 to 7.5 and cretinine label from0. 9to 1.and fasting sugar is 84(previous)to 144 now. Please suggest Me what to do.sir either I continue the medicine of Dr. Last prescription or I switch over to my old prescription. Thanks

Hi My father is having sugar since last 14-15 years.His fasting sugar was 272 in October then doctor gave janumet twice a day but it didn't come to less than 200.we are doing sugar charting.Now doctor gave glucophase twice a day then his fasting sugar came down to 155 but since last 3-4 days its again around 260.what to do?Does it comes down slowly?
