I am using vit d3 every month from past 4 months as prescribed by endocrinologist.I had done vitamin d test on 05/5/20 and my level is 48ng/ml (my endocrinologist adviced me to stop taking vit d3) but 15 days before test (20/04/20) i took vitamin d3 60000iu capsule (i think my endocrinologist is not aware of that) Does it effect test results? Do i need to test again? When to do test if i am using vit d3 tablet?

My vitamin d level is 49.can i take vit d3 60000 iu once per week for 2 weeks as prescribed by my orthopaedician along with calcium tablets for bone density. 1. Does.taking vit d3 (twice a week) at level of 49 result in overdose? or 2. Is it ok to take calcium supplement without vitamin d?

Hi, I think I'm under prediabetes. I m going to get HbA1c tested tomorrow. My question is do I need to eat something before the test or do I go with empty stomach for accurate results please? Regards, Raghu

Hello, I have been diagnosed with graves disease in oct 19,since then i hsve been on medication for increasing and decreasing my tsh,which went from undetectable to 46 in 40 days and i gained around 12 kgs in that span,since then i could not get that back in range.i m still 6 on tsh.and i had started gym n dieting but no weight loss. How long would it take for things to get back on track,could i loose weight once my tsh becomes normal,i mean my ability to loose weight if i work on it,as right now whatever i do it doesn't budge. Ordered wrong dosage of tablets which is not returnable. Istamet 50/500 1-0-1 is the dosage taken regularly. We have ordered istamet 50/1000 instead of 50/500 .question is can 50/1000mg taken in 1/2-0-1/2 instead of istamet 50/500??

Hi, I tested for HbA1c test today and the reading is 5.8% and the mean blood glucose level is 119.8 mg/dl. My age is 31. Is this normal? First, they have sent a report that the reading is 6.3%, also wanted to know if 6.3% is also normal please? Regards, Raghu
