Hi, My mother diagnosed with hyperthyroidism  5 years back and on medicine Neo-Mercazole 10 for one year then doctor suggested    Neo-Mercazole 5 again after one year Doctor found Hypothyroidism and suggested  Eltroxin 50 and same is still my mother continuing as suggested by doctor. Every 4-5 months we do check Thyroid profile of her and that always coming normal for last 3 years. But for last 1 year she is increasing weight and gain 16 kgs where as she is vegetarian with less oil and only whole masala in cooking and dat also in minimum quantity. She does yoga and  walk for 2 hrs daily also cook for herself and other household work. Her lipid profile, CBC, liver kidney profile, sugar, vit D, Vit 12 al reports are normal. Please suggest do I need any further investigation on thyroid ?? She is 65 years old. Need suggestions from Endocrinologist what more investigation should my mother go through to get full clear picture of her thyroid gland functionality ?

I'm diabetic.My HBA1C has been 6.5, 7, 7.5 and now 7.2. I have been noticing for the last three four days that my fasting is around 180-188 .After bfast it is around 129-144. Today , fasting was 188, after bfast 144 and two hours after lunch was 284 ( this is the highest number since I had diabetes in 2016) I am an active person. I make sure to walk for 40 mins daily. I eat consciously. I'm unable to understand this variation. Thank you.

I hv recently tested my thyroid . The result was T3 is 2.12 T4is 10.95 and TSH is 0.18 What medicine I have to take for it ?

Can there be changes in the organs within 6 months of CT scan if all the reports were clear and normal. How soon should one get a CT scan done Can kidney or Pancraes have any growth that can be identified within 6 months

Hi my friend has tsh level >150. Currently, using the 100mcg as doctor suggested. Now, can he eat veg any type of pizza and burger or not ? If it can be eatable, then anything to be excluded like cheese ?
