My hsbnd got covid last month during covid he got sugar now my qstn is it necessary to take medicine for sugar ? He is checking sugar levels daily using accu check machine.sugar readings are like before meals 129 n after meal 250..pls suggest any medicine if needed

My husband has bowel problem and acne peoblem so I soak 1 tbsp fenugreek (Methi) and 1 tbsp saunf ( Mouri)  in water previous night and give the water only next day once in a week. he is non diabetic but this water helps him to reduce stomach problem by which his acne cures easily. Will this water fall his sugar level??? I used this remedy for last 7 years but no level fall in sugar. but someone tell me that it will fall his sugar level. please guide
