I am 67 year old with normal physic. I am diabetic since last 18 years and taking medicine of diabetic .Presently taking Tryglimiprex-2 two times daily - after breakfast and after dinner since 2008. My blood sugar remains generally 90-100(fasting) and 170-185 (PP).As such there is no complication but sometimes I feel hypoglycemia like situation particularly in morning hour.I got checked my sugar level last week.It was 80(fasting) and 142 (PP).Whether I should adjust medicine dose or some other precautions. My BP normally remains on 80-130/140.

Can you be insulin resistant and still have normal T3, T4 and TSH levels? I am overweight. Just got my Thyroid tests done (normal), was wondering if I need to get my insulin resistance checked..

We are shocked to find that his sugar level goes up at this stage ppbs. Fasting was at normal range, but his post lunch sugar goes up for the first at the age of 80 year old. He has great sugar craving, kindly advise us what should he be doing to control diabetes at this stage. Fasting at 122. Ppbs at 233.

I checked my Thyroid recently. Have attached the test report. Should I take tablet to reduce further? FBS is 88. Should I take any precautions? Thanks

In how many months a non-diabetic person should go for blood sugar levels check so that he can keep monitoring his Sugar levels? Can 5-6 bananas a day cause blood sugar in a non-diabetic person?

Hello, My mother got the diabetic level tested and it came 57 for fasting and after eating it came 123. Is the diabetic level too low for fasting?

My father is 80 years old.His Hba1c was 9 before 6 months.He used glyciphage 1000mg for 6 months.Now his Hba1c is 7.No other health problems.His total body check up is done today and everything is perfect.He is very active basically. Can he reduce his dosage to 500 mgnow with proper diet restrictions.

I have symptoms- Rapid heart beat, heart pounding, irritation, anxiety, confusion. After 3-4 hours of lunch.

Hi dr im 33,f,mother of 1 baby,my fasting sugar cames out to be 104-110 many times so i go for hba1c which is 5.0 which does not indicate suagr.however triglyceride is 399,hdl low ,ldl high ,rest all parameters r ok. How is it possible fasting indiactes sugar and hba1c normal
