Dear doctors, I m 29 yrs old female recently diagnosed with dm 2 with hba1c 7.2 Fasting 98.86 Pp 156.6 All lft kft vit d b12 are fine Doctor put me on metformin day and night both as per my sugar levels, and I was 82 kg one month back now I m 79 lost 3 kgs without doing any exercise or diet, so my question is IS WEIGHT LOSS OCCURS IN DIABETES OR TABLET METFORMIN? M worried plz response

Sir my father age is 55 years on 9 July he got injured and a wound is formed in leg just below knee and today 13 July in m morning he had fever with fatigue and swollen lymph node in groin area which subside now as he had taken one dose of antibiotic and paracetamol fever and swollen lymph node not present now please tell what we should do now is this infection please explain here what it is and next step and how it will be treated as I am new to practo I do not have online transactions account

I feel weakness often and it comes suddenly and become little better after although it always. Remain in body... I sometimes feel positional vetigo. Also My bp is 100/70 nearby.. Once doctor checked my sugar randomly so it was 89 after 2 hours having breakfast i had a glass of juice, one boiled egg, and one banana.. I often feel weakness in my body and always muscle fatigue in both my lower limbs. My liver, cbc test are normal. I have also digestive issues like gas, acidity and bitter taste in mouth and bad breath. I have taken enough multivitamins... Please tell is my sugar level normal?? 😒😒

I have skipped medicine for sugar (carbophage xr500 and zalra - 50) for 2 days due to an unforseen event. Can I continue taking it. Will it do any harm?

Hello, In April my Hba1c was 5.4 and mbg 114. Now Hba1c is 5.7 and mbg 125. I am suffering from lack of sleep is this the reason. Please suggest on further steps.

My mom diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 7 years back. She's taking metformin twice a day. Her blood sugar levels FP 136, Post meal 156. Recently urine, creatinine test are done because of UTI. Two months back creatine 0.8, this month 0.9. Any  precautions to take for healthy life. No blood pressure.

I'm 48 yrs old male with H/o Type 2DM for last 4 yrs. On Medication (1) Tab. Glyciphage SR 1 gm, BD (2) Tab. Zincovit, OD. Since last 1 month I'm having Angioedema on and off (mild to moderate). Swelling of lips, below eyes, genitals and hives & rashes over trunks and extremities. Frequency of angioedema: Twice a week. Relieved with Tab. Okacet L 10mg (Levecetrizine), SOS. HbA1c : 6.2 FBS : 105 mg/dl Serum Creatinine: 0.8 mg/dl Fundoscopy: Normal LFT : WNL No other diseases and sign & symptoms. 4 yrs back at the time of diagnosis started with Tab. Glyciphage SR 500 mg OD and now taking 1gm BD. Question: Doctor, Can you please suggest me an alternative medicine to Tab. Glyciphage SR 1 gm?

3 months ago I was diagnosed with diabetics with 240 (random value).  I was advised by my doctor to take glucomet 1000 before breakfast and dinner. My reading now are 140 ( before breakfast) and 180( 2 hours after taking meal). Is it OK? Please advice me for its better management. I do my walking and yoga regularly.
