Hello doc , I had noticed severe hair fall recently and did thyroid test where tsh was 5.76 and t3 and t4 are normal . is my hair fall due to this elevated tsh ? What should I do now plz help?

My Ha1c report is 8.5,one doc has advised glycomet sr 500 with breakfast and dinner and the other has advised janumet 500, which one is it ok.

Very Sore feet. Increased thirst. Lathargic. Dark urine. Bloods have been no lower than 14.5 over the last week.

Every time I feel sleepy and lazy . I am diabetic but I have maintained it in a good manner . I am taking proper medicine on regular basis But still, there is no effect of my condition.

I had fever 2 days back n cold but now I am out of of fever but am feeling weakness ,irritation,not getting hungry,laziness,low.and I am a dibetic patient I did not go for check up from last six months.And I daily drink karela neem cucumber aloe vera and beetroot juice early morning in a emty stomach.so plz tell me why am I feeling like this I always been very strong though I am a dibetic patient.

My father is suffering with the diabetic from last 25 years. He has gone through with Open Heart Surgery in 1995. I just saw ur post on Quora.com. Ma'am due to this problem, my father has lost visibility in one of eye. Other problem is he feels that somone is punching the needles on this both of the foot. Due to this he canot sleep properly.

My husbands age is 28, today he checked his blood sugar ie before breakfast and tea but before tea he had one banana then he checked his blood sugar that was 149, last night he had 2 beers also and after mear he had 294 sugar but he doesnot have that blood sugar symtoms like frequent urination and trust.. please suggest what to do..

I am 21. Was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 years back. I am on 18 units per day of Insulin. The Doctor simply declared me T1DM stating age as the reason. No C-Peptide Test, No Antibody Test, not even any hba1c Test. But I am unsure if I have T1DM as I think I have T2DM. I am Obese (BMI-30), on low insulin dosage, do not have any history of T1DM but full of T2DMs including my father, mother, grandfather and uncle. My concern is if I have T2DM, I should be taking Metformin too but I am just on Insulin. Which type of Diabetes do I have?

My father have a diabetes (sugar around 250+(before meal) and 350+(after meal)). Dr. started high power tablets and now its 160 and 250. But he suffers a lot from hand and shoulder pain. I searched online so some website said its a neuropathic pain and difficult to recover. Is there any sure shot method which gives him relief?
