Sore throat and visible epiglottis

Hello doctor From last 2-3 days i am Having sore throat which feels like there is dust stuck in the throat. When i looked in the mirror at the back of my throat little tip of my epiglottis is also visible but it is very deep down sometimes visible and sometimes not. Stapedectomy

I have gone through stapedectomy on Dec 22nd. My inner ear package was removed on 28th For one day my hearing was fine. But from 29th, my ears feel clogged and the hearing is much worse than before. Does this mean the sugery failed?
