Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Hi ..my dad is having cough since last one month. did cbc blood test and chest x ray last month ..it came out normal. but cough is not going . he is currently on mild antibiotics and nebulisations. taken 3 doses of antibiotics till now. doc told to do cbc test again. why she told to do cbc test again when it came normal earlier

I have constant buzzing sound in my left head and ear. Ear also feels blocked and I can hear less. On inserting finger inside ear and moving I feel pain. Please help.
