Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I was a smoker but left cigarette 6 months ago. there is feeling that i have something stuck at back of my throat. met doc he told nothing is there 2 months back but still i have a problem. feel dryness in my throat and when i touch apple.of eden from outside i feel a pain ... can anyone suggest what medicine should i take .or what my problem is
