I've been sick for a couple of days, and it's just a common cold. My symptoms are the occasional runny nose or sore throat. However now I've noticed this huge ball of mucus stuck in my throat. It came up, and I started gagging. I held this sensation back. Should I have let it come out, or was holding it in the right thing to do?
