While drinking water my thraot get hurts And no cough and no cold and no fever

I have a severe throat pain , also find difficulty in swallowing. There are some white deposits on the muscles at d sides of the uvula region. Do i require antibiotics or a good flushing of my mouth with mouth wash and gargling with salt water frequently help ?
