My mother is not able to taste anything. Her taste buds are affected. Can this be due to any medications for cold fever and weakness that she took last month?

Hi, my daughter is not keeping well since last few days and has constant fever , sore throat and coughing throughout the day. She doesn't eat proper diet and very weak, currently we are giving her Crocin ds syrup, clavum Forte, Laveta M,  Alex junior for last three days but dont see much improvement , Please advise ??

I am having pain in my throat while swallowing food. Even while drinking water. I took ginger n honey with hot water past two days in the night. But it seems its not helping. It hurts when i apply pressure physically on my throat. Feels like inflammation after drinking water. Also, ive been dry coughing and it gets worse in the night. Only after i lay my head at a height or drink something does it eases. What should i do?
