Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

My left nostril gets blocked when i lay down, but opens up when i stand up and I'm able to breathe. I even tried blowing the nostril, but nothing comes out. Why is this?

Hello. 3 days ago I developed intense pain in my throat and high fever with chills body ache. The local doctor said I've developed pus on my tonsils and prescribed me medicines HHAMCLAV 625 and ELDOLOR-Sp. Whenever I take the medicine my fever and throat pain reduces incredibly but after 6-7 hours it slowly starts to return. After 2-3 days I got the courage to look myself and saw a huge pus pocket on my tonsils and 2-3 more pus pockets comparatively small. I've freaked out since I'm so scared when will these go away?? Can you please advice something on this. What can I do to make these go away as soon as possible.
