Dr...I was having a swelling in my neck so I suggested for a US and the results came as I have a cystic nodule in my thyroid glands n I was advised for a FNAC ...my swelling has somewat reduced ...now still I need to go for a FNAC...kindly guide me

for confirmed diagnosis FNAC is a must. it will tell what types of disease you have. USG just differentiate between solid or cystic disease but doesn't make the diagnosis
