Hello doctor, I feed street dogs on a daily basis, i already had rabies vaccine before 6 months three shots , abhi hota kya h khilate time kabhi kabhi unke nails lagjate h ... no blood no puncture, just a scratch. Can you please tell me should i have to do some precautions?

My mom got bitten by a 3-4 months dog while feeding it accidentally bitten to my moms finger and there was little blood. After that mom took titenash and then after consulting hospital doctor prescribed to take 3 doses of anti rabies. Mom took second dose on Thursday. Now today we're sharing food and I ate same food , using same spoon which may touched her tounge or saliva. So Am I also danger of rabies? Should I need to take anti rabies too?

Hi all, due to my pet dog's frequent nibbling issue I had a series of shots taken in July 27,31& Aug 4 (0,3,7) . After three doses I have taken another single shot of vaccine on September 7 and Oct 31. So total 5 shots in last 4 months . My recent exposure to a stray dog licking my finger tip while I was feeding it and I unknowingly used the same finger to eat 2mins later caused me panic and made go for rabies vaccination again. Now currently 0,3,7 on Jan 4,7,11 are done while first two were in gluteal . My two concerns 1. Since my pet dog is vaccinated and rabid free and still health can I consider my earlier 5 doses as PrEP dose and will it give me immunity 2. With the current course shall I retake my day 0,3 since they're given in gluteal . Or is it okay to carryon with further doses ?

I have one budgie bird and he's bleeding from his tail. Not from the vent or rectum. It is bleeding from the place from where the tail is coming out. What to do?

In October 2024, I completed the full course of Rabivax vaccines (Day 0: 29/09/2024, Day 3: 02/10/2024, Day 7: 06/10/2024, Day 14: 13/10/2024, and Day 28: 27/10/2024) following a dog lick on open wound. Today, while playing with a puppy, it pulled on my lower clothing, causing it to tear, and I got 2-3 scratches with slight bleeding. I visited a hospital immediately, where the doctor advised cleaning the wound and stated no booster or additional vaccine is needed since I am fully vaccinated and it has been less than six months. However, I am still anxious and would like to confirm if this approach is correct and if there is any additional precaution I should take.

My little puppy (Indian breed) who is 3 months old got hurt in his one of the front legs. Not sure if it's broken or not. When I touched the leg, he didn't react so I feel it's not broken yet. Little bit skin peeling and blood is there. I used betadine liquid for that. He is facing challenge while walking. Can anyone guide me what to use for that leg?

Sir /ma'am I already have taken titanus injection and Rabies 5 doses of vaccin on November my last vaccin December 2, 2024 Today cat nail pinch on my cheeks blood come out so I went to doctor he said 2 time vaccin ARV it is need to take this 2 doses or should I take only one pls advise .

A stary mother cat always visits our home. One day we gave her milk from that day onwards it drinks only milk or curd (twice or thrice in a day)and nothing else(like rice). So is milk or curd good for the cat or shld we stop giving her this and what alternative we can try.
