Child has  fever frm  yesterday ,maftal D's syrup is given 102 temp,but fever again after 2,3 hours, suggest a better medicine

He has fever from last three days and has shivering due to cold and fever gets up and down now and than

He is 5 yr old. He has some sort of infection and has abdomen pain near the belly button. He also complains that it pains all the way from his throat, chest and has cold too. As per doctors advice we give only light food but he has not passed stool for the past two days , is that ok or will it increase the infection... And the fever shoots up every time he eats and goes down after sometime

We are giving milk with Apple, milk with chapati, pulses, milk with biscuit (Parle G). But my 1 and half year old baby is facing difficulty in passing stool. His stool is very hard. Please advise what should we give him to eat to soften the stool
