Child Health Issues

My doctor prescribed esole sachet 10mg to my 1yr old daughter.., she is taking so many medicine for cold and cough maybe that's why but when I read on Apollo pharmacy it says we should not give this esole sachet to children below 5yr age. Please revert is it safe for my daughter or not???

My baby is 4.5 months old. Firstly she refuses to feed and cries a lot. Even if she tries taking feed either breastfeed or formula, she starts applying too much pressure to pass stool or gas during feed time. So it gets more dufficult to feed her. Then she gets cranky again due to hunger

My baby is 4.5 months old and is refusing milk during wake time. She gets extremely cranky due to hunger by not taking breastfeed or bottle at that time.. i have to force her to sleep and then feed her bt as soon as she gets awake then again starts crying. Due to excessive crying and hunger she is unable to sleep as well. What could be the reason for this?

Hello Doctor, While my baby drinking water he gets cough from intial drinking stage (7 months baby) to until now- Now he is 15 months. From which ever he drinks either from open glass / feeding bottle/ bowl- he gets so much cough. While drinking formula milk he don't get cough. Should I give him water from sipper bottles? Or please suggest any other format or bottles? What to do Doctor. Please suggest. I even consulted two pediatricians - but they said like it's common. Please suggest. Thank you.

Hello Doctor, While giving formula milk for my baby- I just clean the feeding bottle with plain water without washing with soap or liquid and just close the cap without drying the bottle.  And every day once I  sterilize the feeding bottle in hot water and after that without drying the bottle I just close the cap.  I'm doing the same process from newborn stage. Now my son is 15 months. Is it fine Doctor? Please suggest. Thank you.

Hi I am sufferring from fever and currently breastfeeding. Can we take paracetomol 500mg for fever?since I am breastfeeding asking this question

I have followed govt schedule for my 2.5 months baby. But now onwards want to follow the private schedule as we need painless vaccination. Is there any concern switching the schedule in between? Also at her 1.5 months vaccine, PCV1 was not given due to non availability. Can we give that along with private schedule this month?

Hi, My 1.5 year old son throws up paracetamol or any medicine syrup immediately within seconds. Can we mix the syrup with lime water/Fruit juice so that baby can consume easily? Please suggest. Thanks.

My baby was given 1 dose Rotateq 2 dose Rotasil and 3 dose Rotateq. There was a brand change in second dose because of city change.Baby is of 6 months now, can anything be done now? What harm will it cause in future for baby
