Chest & Breathing Problems

I am suffering from chest congestion for a long time. Amd Too much cough...it feels like something is stucked in my throat. How to get rid of it.

Are there any side effects of montair lc / montair tablets on the lungs ?i have a history of pleural effusion 15 years back but the entire treatment was taken post that no such issues were observed . Now I am prescribed montair to be taken for 4 months since my IGE level was elevated and also had moderate cough . Will consumption of montair have any side effects on lungs ?is it a safe tablet to be taken for 5 months ?
