Dear Doctor, I have tickling sensation in trachea for past 7-8 days. There was no cough for first 5 days. I had to force cough to relieve the sensation. It was mostly dry cough. There is a simultaneous tightening sensation in the upper chest area and a bit of pain on the opposite side (at the back). Past 2-3 days there has been some cough but no phlegm. Does it seem like cough symptom or does it require further investigation? Should I get chest X-ray done? Regards,
