Chest & Breathing Problems
Side effects of CECT Scan of Thorax
My father has done CECT scan of thorax today. After returning home,he suddenly started shivering severely. His temperature too rose around 102 degree celcius. The doctor gave an anti-allergic medicine and paracetamol. The temperature didn't go down.He still has fever. Is it dangerous to have such symptoms after CECT scan?Do I have to rush him to the hospital?Or these are just allergic reactions which will be normal after sometime. He is diabetic and has a bp of 156/100
