Taking oxygen overnight

Is it ok to let the oxygen cylinder be connected to the patient overnight and let the patient breathe through it only? Is it harmful to take in too much oxygen from the oxygen cylinder. The patient is having low saturation levels due to covid and having breathlessness for which we have setup an oxygen cylinder at home.

Cough and Breathing Problem after Cough

My father is having cough problem since past 10-12 days. Although, medicines are given along with nebulizer and steam. It has resulted into lower cough but whenever he is coughing, he is feeling very much pain in chest and abdominal. After every time he coughs, he is complaining of low breathing and weakness. But after 15-20 minutes, he says that i am. Fine now. We are checking SpO2 level also every 3-4 hours. It is sometimes 88, then 84, then 90, then 85...it revolves around 80-90 evertime. What should we do now, we are not understanding. Should we give him the oxygen concentrator, or should we consult the doctor. Or all this is happening due to cough problem and it will go away with cough. Please suggest what is to be done. I am enclosing his previous prescription too.

Covid-19 Vaccine for Asthma Patients

Namastey Doctor, I am 28 years of age. I'm have Chronic Asthma by birth. I use Foracort 200mg Inhaler for my Asthma (1 puff every 2 days on an average) and it works for me. Previously, very rarely I also used to take Levolin 10mg if needed alongside the Foracort. My query is : Given my comorbidity and the Inhaler that I use, 1. Is it safe for me to get the Covishield or Covaxin or Sputnik or whichever COVID-19 vaccine that is given to me by the Government? 2. Can I continue to use my Inhaler after I get vaccinated? 3. Can I expect any allergic reaction such as weasing or chest congestion(like during Asthma attack) after I get vaccinated? Request you to kindly clarify. Thank you very much. Thanks, Surya
