Chest & Breathing Problems

Im having cough in lungs along with changed voice and coughing. It hurts a little in throat too. Since last 2 days. How to detox lungs from such cough?

I am 36F and Consulted a doctor in early June for chest discomfort and nighttime coughing. All diagnostic tests were normal, and I received a provisional diagnosis of Cough Variant Asthma (CVA). Later in late June, contracted a viral infection that caused a deep chest rattle. I Completed a 1-month course of Foracort 400 (twice daily) exactly 5 days ago (July 5). The late-June viral chest rattle ('ghar-ghar') and active cough have now stopped. • Current Symptoms: Voice is completely hoarse and cracked. Experiencing a mild, persistent 'sinking' feeling in my chest, especially when exhaling or leaning back on pillows. The chest feels generally uncomfortable and not fully right, though it is hard to explain in words. Of late I am feeling a tiny bit breathless at times (might be due to heightened awareness/anxiety). No classic acidity, stomach discomfort, or hot belches, but the chest discomfort is noticeably more after heavy meals. Can I take foracort agin or what should I do?

Hello doctors, two or three days ago, I noticed that I had to gasp to take a deep breath, which would result in either a complete or an incomplete yawning. I asked a free question and the doctors told me it was air hunger and it was because of stress. It did seem plausible, as I underwent a stressful event the night before experiencing these symptoms. But, now, I am sure Im unable to breathe properly. I try to breathe and it feels like Im only taking in 50% of what I was able to. I try to take a deep breath and Im simply unable to. I have to force myself for 4-5 breaths, after which I can finally take a single deep breath, and then it returns to the "barely able to breath" situation. No cough, or pain in chest. I do have some mucus, but I've struggled with more mucus before and never felt this way. My Noise watch says my blood oxygen is 98%. Please advise.

Dear sir I work in pharmaceutical company ...I get sneezing every 3-4 days with a runny  nose .. I take levocetrizine 5 MG at night and i feel fine ... I wanted to ask :- if I take SOS levocetrizine 5 MG then how long will it be safe for my liver and kidney??? Meaning for how long can I take it SOS ??? Or should I use some nasal spray instead ???

My mother who is having cough variant asthma, BP, diabetes, cholesterol took Prevanar 13 vaccine in july 2025 under doctor supervision. Is it recommended to take Prevanar 23 after an year. And when should be the next of Prevanar 13 taken? Kindly sugges

Hi I m shivam rajput 15 years old and a class 9th student i recently visited a chest specialist to check my asthama condition I was going through cough and sneezing. i wnated to know wether my report is good or not and should I start doing swimming ?

My mom has had a cough with mucus and chest noise for the past 3 months. We recently did a CT Thorax, and the report mentions fibrotic strands in both upper lobes, a subpleural fibrotic band in the right upper lobe, a linear fibrotic band in the left lower lobe, ground-glass opacities, and mosaic attenuation. She does not have significant breathlessness, and her oxygen levels are normal. I'm the only son for her I'm very anxious about this report i didn't sleep for the past 10 days and continuously cried. My mom is very poor from childhood she did very hard work (beedi making) to raise me. Is this a serious condition? Does this CT suggest IPF? Is this fibrosis mild, moderate, or severe? Is this condition life-threatening or likely to affect life expectancy? Please tell me 😭 We went to the pulmonologist and the doctor said it was mild and prescribed some cold medicine and inhaler only. What treatment would you recommend? Does she need regular follow-up scans? Please help me doctor 😭

Doctor prescribed me Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol But not prescribed benadon why??
