Usage for longer periods
Sir and Ma'am,
Foracort 400 can be used for longer periods as sudden discontinuation after 3 weeks as prescribed is causing problems.Please guide.

Mainly we should know your symptoms from how long are you suffering and PFT report. Accordingly we prescribe the need for foracort if it has to be continued daily or when to stop if can be

It depends on why you were started on foracort and what are your symptoms and have you done PFT or not.. please get a pft test if not done

Higher drug are there like Vilor F , Budamate G etc, get tested for other causes too like sinusitis, Pneumonia uncontrolled BP or Sugar

If you are taking foracort 400 take it regularly for 3months and then get a PFT done if PFT is better then previous one and patient is asymptomatic then dose can be step down

Need to know about ur diagnosis and symptoms frequency. If your symptoms recurs then you might need to continue inhalers as prescribed. Nothing wrong in it.
