Chest & Breathing Problems

My mom has had a cough with mucus and chest noise for the past 3 months. We recently did a CT Thorax, and the report mentions fibrotic strands in both upper lobes, a subpleural fibrotic band in the right upper lobe, a linear fibrotic band in the left lower lobe, ground-glass opacities, and mosaic attenuation. She does not have significant breathlessness, and her oxygen levels are normal. I'm the only son for her I'm very anxious about this report i didn't sleep for the past 10 days and continuously cried. My mom is very poor from childhood she did very hard work (beedi making) to raise me. Is this a serious condition? Does this CT suggest IPF? Is this fibrosis mild, moderate, or severe? Is this condition life-threatening or likely to affect life expectancy? Please tell me 😭 We went to the pulmonologist and the doctor said it was mild and prescribed some cold medicine and inhaler only. What treatment would you recommend? Does she need regular follow-up scans? Please help me doctor 😭

Doctor prescribed me Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol But not prescribed benadon why??

Hello dr . l have had cough and breathlessness for 6–7 years. Asthma is not confirmed, and asthma treatment has not helped much. PFT showed FEV1 41% and FEV1/FVC 57% (poor-quality report). I also have palpitations, body-wide pulsations, fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain, eye pain reddness and elevated ESR/CRP. Which specialist should I consult first?

Then ENT doctor gives me Montair 10 mg OD×10 days Ebastine 20mg OD× 10days Then Little ticking on my throat Foracort 200 breath synchronise twice for  15 days With steam inhale.. Then cough gone.. then after some daying ticking in throat and cough.. Then i start steam inhale its helps me.. When i stayed at home no cough.. When i go to office by train ticking start in throat.. when i run or work cough starts..help me doc

. I have had bilateral lower costal margin (lower rib margin) pain, flank pain  for about 8 years           . Pain pattern Pain starts within 1 second of sitting. Standing reduces the pain by about 90% within 10 seconds. Walking causes only 2–5% pain. Before getting out of bed in the morning, I have no pain. Lying down causes about 20% pain.                           The pain is spread across both lower rib margins, not one small point. The sensation is mainly pressure/tightness, not burning or stabbing. Sir I am experiencing constant coughing since past 2 weeks first week was yellow phlegm and after that it's just white I feel cough in my throat and am experiencing a bit of heaviness and feel like gas I smoked for past 10 years what to do

Previous week I have cold after that I have phlegm with blood last 2 days the phlegm colour brown sometime brown sometime white ao I do x ray what was in the report? What happen?

Two months ago, I had a severe cough and right-sided chest pain during breathing. A chest X-ray revealed a pneumonia patch. I was treated with 3 days of IV fluids and medications. Now, my cough is completely gone, but the right-sided chest pain has remained unchanged for 2 months. Self-restarted old prescription of Acebrophylline 200mg SR this morning with mild relief, but chest tightness persists. No fever. Seeking expert guidance on treatment.
