Hello Doctor,
It started with a dry cough in December 2025. And I have got myself treated by allopathic doctor first ,then homeopathic doctor and later by ayurvedic doctor.
I have got all the tests done like TB, face PNS,chest xray, blood test ,angioscopy.
But all the reports were perfect.
The question is my cough is not healing...I am having issues talking die to continuous dry cough...which recently resulted in mucus cough a week back and a runny nose
What am I supposed to do to cure my cough?
Thanks n Regards
Looks like allergic cough. Do you have any allergies or it could be due to GERD or LPR. You need to consult a pulmonologist for detail history taking for proper diagnosis and treatment

Best is to consult pulmonologist.
Need to check all the tests and done , based on which root cause has to be evaluated.
According to symptoms its looking most likely due to gastric refulx or post nasal drip or sinusitis which sometimes can be missed on x-ray initially
A dry cough lasting nine months with every major test coming back normal often points to something routine scans don't catch: post-nasal drip from allergic rhinitis, acid reflux reaching the throat, or cough-variant asthma. Your new runny nose and mucus actually point toward the first of these.
Next Steps
Ask your doctor about a trial for allergic rhinitis, such as an antihistamine or nasal spray. Mention whether the cough gets worse lying down or after meals, since that points to reflux instead. A pulmonologist can check for cough-variant asthma if this doesn't help.
Health Tips
See a doctor again soon if you develop fever, weight loss, night sweats, or blood in the cough.
