They did an ekg, X-ray, and blood work and couldn't find anything wrong. Went to my regular doctor who thought it was anxiety. She put me on short term anxiety meds. That hasn't helped and now I've developed a wet cough,

I was prescribed Abphylline200mg expectorant. When I used this on first night I started coughing more vigorously than before. And now I get pain in trachea/ larynx when coughing. How to stop coughing, please help.
