Chest & Breathing Problems

Hello doctor, I had kept a maid to take care of my daughter who is 1 and a half years old.She was with her for three months taking care of her.One day the maid fell sick and coughed up blood once.After that I discontinued her services immediately.This episode is now two months old.I got the maid's sputum test done for tuberculosis which was negative.However on questioning her she told me that her father had died of tuberculosis 14 years ago.Other members in her family include two sisters,mother and one brother.I also got her digital xray done and a helical CT CHEST,both of which were normal.I want to ask of there is a chance that she may be suffering from active tuberculosis given her symptoms and family history of tuberculosis. I am 27 year old male. I constantly have cold past two years. I get cold very easily. I consulted a doctor and he said my immune system was weak. I also get choking and pukish feeling at night. Should I consult a doctor?

Hi, I'm eighteen years old and just a few moments ago (I'm fine now) I woke up completely unable to breathe, numb, and I heard humming noises and nothing else. I'd just like to know what this may be and what I can do to prevent this from happening again.

Im having a shortness of breath everyday. My heart feels like its being squeeze. I get tired easily, my body is weak, my vision gets blurry,I lost balance sometimes, I dont remember anything clearly or I always forgot things. I feel weak now. What should I do?

I've been having breathing problem from past 2 days. It happens only at night and I have heavy breathing. While breathing I also have whistle sound which I think is due to chest congestion.

I am having cough from last five month. but I dont have fever and weight loss. coughing is not frequent and it satrts only at night and last for 15min, shortness in breathing and pain in chest while coughing is there. my CT scan of chest shows small nodular density in the anterior segment of upper lobe. my sputum test is negative.

Hello There! I'm having chest congestion problem since last two months. Have excess mucus in throat. Many times feels difficulty in breathing.

For the past 1 yr , even after getting medications of anxiety, lung infection , I've been yawning a lot, much more than average (once every few minutes I feel the need). If I'm not yawning I'm breathing in as deep as I can to get similar "satisfaction". Often I cannot get the "satisfaction" from these and so the urge grows and grows, meaning it can get quite uncomfortable. When I do manage it, the urge is back a few seconds later. This is whether I'm tired or not, almost all day.  I'm not particularly anxious about anything in particular, and get the same amount of sleep as before this started.  after getting medications last year ... my problem got better but now again since last few months i m feeling the same and bow i feel little heaviness around my head throughout my day ... and yes i would like to add one important thing which i feel that after working out ..i feel quite energetic but again when i rest afterwards , i get a constant urge to yawn ! so suggest me what to do !

Had cough and cold . Cough is coming out heavily. Constant breathing problem. Difficulty in breathing. Took a bottle of Ascoril . Still the breathing problem is there.

Hi, my friend (22F) has been suffering from persistent coughing (dry/allergic cough) for past 8-10 days. This was triggered after she ate an icecream. She took Benadryl for 5 days without any relief. She had to stop this syrup as it interacted with her medication ( fluoxetine). Today she spit blood in sputum in morning for fisrt time. what to do?
