My grandmother of 72yrs having sob suspected of aneamia known case of since years bp and diabetes please sugest the next step of treatment

I am observing that over the last 5 years my younger kid has had recurrent cough instances. What starts with cough converts into cold, running nose. These instances reoccur over a period of 2-3 months. He wakes up with cough. Sometimes he coughs at night but it isn't period. Dry Cough converts mostly into a chest infect with Phelgm and Cold.
