Chest & Breathing Problems

My cholesterol was high fever months back and I also had high BP 160-170 and doctor advised me to avoid non-veg but I couldn't do so..Now from few days I am having difficulty in breathing ..I had to b concious while taking breaths..I also felt a jerk in my head while I was driving today.. Please tell me why is it happening

I keep dosing off and jump up out of my sleep breathing heavy and my chest feels like someone is pressing down on it. Is that normal?
