Ultrasound shows mild pleural effusion , after my doctor refers x ray but x ray shows nothing this is totally I confused plz tell me what this and I have no symptoms

Hi. I understand your concern s. If you are not having any symptoms for now it is ok. Better get a detailed examination done and repeat an x ray again after 2 weeks to see what is the status. consult a pulmonologist for the same.

You will have to repeat an X ray after a couple of weeks to see if the effusion has increased. Ultrasound picks up even small amont of effusion which may not be seen on X ray.
