Sir, can ct scan cause cancer it is my first time for it neuro surgeon told me go for ct scan brain help me on this i feel doubt about it

My mother was recently operated for mastectomy post mammography and biopsy. Histopathlogy reports post surgery indicate they got all of the tumors out in the breast with negative margins. There were 2 tumors, both pathologically considered T2 (staging), as suspected by her imaging. However, her lymph nodes are involved (5+) and there are cells outside of the lymph nodes in her axillary region (N2 stage). Both Oncosurgeon and Oncologist confirm she  requires radiation and chemotherapy as next step of treatment. However both Oncosurgeon and Oncologist were not ready to prescribe PET SCAN pre or post surgery and pre Chemotherapy or pre Radiation. What could be the reason? When such huge amounts are being spend on surgeries and therapy why the hesitation for PET full body scan? Would it not had given a better picture pre surgery? Won't it give a better picture before starting chemotherapy and radiation especially when radiation is specific and focused and not for full body?

My aunt has recently diagnosed due to pain near right side of breast and post check up it is said that it might be breast cancer but biopsy is still pending to be done.. Request to guide and suggest on basis of attached report.

Hi Dr My mother had breast removal surgery in January this year... (Stage 3 has started as per Dr but reports were showing stage 2) she had her first cycle of chemotherapy but now she is facing indigestion problem and didn't get relief till the time she pukes everything she ate.

Hi doctor, I am suffering from hypochondria anxities since 4 eyear and only have fear of cancer. I have developed this fear by reading about different type of cancer and it symtoms in internet. I sue to do blood test every month for checking blood cancer. I do ultrasound to check for stomach cancer. I keep checking my body, neck , armpit for any swelling lymph node. I did MRI of brain twice to check brain cancer. I watch my stool for colon cancer. I started my pyactric treatment since 8 moths for this but I am not finding any help. I am taking peroxitine 37.5 mg daily. Now, i am having bad itching in my armpit and u am scared of some lymph nod le swell there. I did ultrasound of both armpit in 2020 and it was normal. I am dieing due to this fear daily. Not able to concentrate in my normal life. Now, i am seeking suggetion from cancer doctor only. I am just 32. Please suggest ..dnt ignore

I was recommended to take NGS (Caris testing)Next-Generation Sequencing for my Mother which can be useful for current treatment. Caris and Hope foundation are the two labs recommended in United States (estimated around Rs.5 Lakhs) . Wanted to know is there any good labs available in INDIA for NGS which is cost effective. Please suggest if any.. Disease history: My mother was diagnosed with metastatic Rectum and breast cancer (both primary) in Nov 2015. Immediately gave Cape(2000mg/d)-Ox(200mg) + bevacizumab (500mg), 6 cycles last cycle Mar 2016.Then she took only Anastrazole till Dec 2020. She had excellent disease free interval till Dec 2020. As CEA and CA 125 markers rasied Doctor rechallenged with the same treatment bevacizumab and took 6 cycles (May 2021 last cycle). This time treatment was not much effective. Now recent PET taken on 29Dec shows progression in liver. Liver biopsy consistent with breast carcinoma, Currently taking Abemaciclib (Ramiven 100mg), Letrazole 2.5mg

What are all the reports need to be handed over to the patient after done the diagnostic laparoscopic? They have collected the samples for biopsy, but no written reports or recorded CD provided. My mom is identified with overian cyst. They are saying it's been spreaded all over abdominal. I need best suggestions about kind of treatment. It's been suspected to be CA. Please suggest.

My sister has an breast cancer history. She was operated and removed breast and followed by chemotherapy. Now we go for CT scan and that shows Few tiny nonspecific lung cysts are seen in bilateral lower lung lobes. Report attached herewith
