Hemorrhagic stroke recovery
Hi Doctor, my dad is 73 years old and had a mild hemorrhagic stroke 2 weeks ago because he stopped taking hypertension medicine. He was admitted to the hospital right away and the bleeding was about 3 ml. No surgery performed. CT scan and MRI showed that blood was completely absorbed and no other blockage or bleeding was found in the brain. My dad was released from the hospital yesterday and his only complication is dizziness when walking, standing and sitting. He's able to walk now with external assistance to prevent him from falling. He speaks good, eats well, and goes to the bathroom regularly. He's on meds to control his blood pressure, which is stabilized. My question is whether it's safe for him to fly international flight 2 weeks later? Will plane taking off or landing be a risk factor for another stroke?? Thanks so much for your help!

Pain and swelling due to injury
Yesterday (6 pm)I sustained an injury to my lumbar spine when I hit the corner of a wooden post. The pain was 7/10, but I had no nausea/vomiting, tingling, or loss of movement or feeling. The pain faded within an hour or so, down to a 2 or 3/10. However, my brother pocked me there a few times, and swelling increased and pain increased to 5/10. I applied ice and witchhazel, and took ibuprofen. This helped, pain went down to 4. Today I still have some swelling and pain 3/10, and have been taking ibuprofen, but have trouble finding a comfortable position and still feel discomfort. Should I consult my physician or let it heal on its own?
