Numbness on left side, feel disoriented

I am having recurring numbness on the left side of my body and at times feel disoriented. A few weeks ago, i got numb in my left leg and sort of lost balance and speech was slurred (lasted for a couple of minutes max), is it an ischemic stroke? PS: I underwent a surgery (pancreatic jejunostomy) last october.
