Tendon healing vs bone healing.

Hi sir my name is dilip and I am 34 years old. I am 100 kgs weight and I don't have any sugar or blood pressure and there is no any underlying condition. On September 2012 I met an accident and I broke my wrist. The distal radius bone has been broken and doctor made a surgery in my wrist and he fixed a small plate with screws in my distal radius bone right hand. Last week I experienced a popping sound in my thumb. And after that I was unable to move my thumb. Then I went to orthopaedic doctor and he told that the EPL tendon has been teared. Later he advised to remove the plates and screws and also advised the EPL tendon repair needs to be done using PL graft. now the surgery is over and the plates and screws have been removed and the tendon has been repaired using PL graft. Now I would like to ask you one question. What is the difference between bone healing and tendon healing? What is the time duration for tendon healing and bone healing? will my tendon naturally attaches each other?

Should I get chest MRI

I feel that my left ribs has less muscle around it than right including shoulder. I had an accident before 2 years to that area but no fractures. I had spine mri, blood tests, chest xray etc but all are normal I also feel hallow under my lest rib and at the same part on right I feel thick. Attached the photo where I feel hallow. At the same point I get very very mild strain when I breathe full. 2nd photo - only when I touch I g t pain , else no pain.that is the part where I got hurt 2 years back. It's been like since that time and it feels uncomfortable feeling that my left is small and right is big. Should I get chest MRI or any other MRIs? I did brain and spine which are ok according to doc and blood tests as well , for which I am taking vitamin D. Please help.

Pain after stiches removal

My father underwent the surgery for broken tibia and fibula and now the stitches where the rod was inserted have been taken off. He is experiencing acute pain during night time. Although he is able to lift his leg up, walk about more than 20 steps using the walker and twist his leg sideways, the pain becomes unbearable at night. The surgeon had suggested painkillers such as Zerodol and indomethacin to alleviate the pain. I wanted to enquire if the pain is a usual symptom after open reduction and internal fixation surgery or is this something strange? He feels completely fine during the day when he is advised to take his medication.
