Bone & Muscle problems

Since 10days I am feeling severe pain in my back neck. When I touch it feels like something is swollen there. First 2 3 days I thought it is muscle pull so simply I tried home remedies and exercising but it didn't get well. Usually it pains more when I wake up in the morning after my sleep in night. During the day pain doesn't feel much while doing usual chores. I travel to office by cab or sometimes by riding scooty. Can it be cervical? What measures can I take to detect it before visiting a doctor's clinic? Please suggest.

Two and half years back I met with an accident which caused knee dislocation. It also had blood clots inside. Though it was cured after two months but from last months I am suffering from knee pain which I believe to be for the same reason. I need some good advice from an orthopedic, Who can help me cure the problem without having to go under a knife.

For the past few months I have been experiencing stiffness and pain in my back and neck area. I believe that its most likely because of the chair I am using right now(i am a college student and this chair is provided by the college). Its very hard to maintain my posture on the chair, but the hostel doesn't allow bringing in chairs from outside without proper medical certification. First the pain was felt more at the back then travelled down to legs, more towards the feet. Now it is felt less in the back but it is more on the top of the feet near fingers.

Can I increase my height by taking ashwagandha and sleeping 12-13 hours a day. I am 20 years old and 5'4".
