Post Tibia Surgery
I suffered from a tibia open fracture in mid sept this year. The doctors did a ORIF, IM Nailing and left the broken fibula has it is.
I was given 50% wb on the second week
Now at 6 weeks, i was xray and doctor say he could see some bone growth. I was able to walk short distance with no crutches, and he told me to go on fwb.
My question now is, while i am able to walk with no crutches, i cant seems to activate quads, glutes to help me take the stair even just a wee bit. The injured leg tend to "lock" instead of walking with a slight knee bend .
Is there something i can do to improve this situation?
Thank you all for the inputs.
