I've had this pain since Sunday morning. It is a continuous pain which lessens when I take some NSAID (tried taking just paracetamol or acetaminophen at first and then switched to a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen). They do provide relief but it's temporary. It seems like it is wisdom tooth pain but I'm not sure about it. I can feel the gum harden along with the swelling as if the tooth is right below the gum but not even the crown has been exposed yet. I happen to be a pharmacist.
