Do we need to remove wisdom teeth if partial impaction...Is there no other way of treatment without removing wisdom teeth.

My tonsils have been a huge problem since the age of 15 so for 5 years now my tonsils have been so large that it changed my voice(very airy), I constantly can just pull tonsil stones out with my fingers, and my airway closes completely when I flex my throat to yell or something of that nature. I haven't heard much about getting tonsils removed. Would it be recommended?
