Tooth and Mouth Problems

I am planning to get lingual braces in India and I'm moving to USA for my studies. So i won't get monthly check ups from the dentist I'll be getting my braces from. So it will be a problem to get check up from US doctors? Tho i know it will be costlier to get even check ups in US.

I have some small white patches or excessive growth of skin in my lips and my inner cheeks ... I heard that it's leukoplakia ... It doesn't hurt or anything.. I have tried some gels but it still isn't going away... I request you to kindly advise me the necessary actions to take for the issue to be resolved ...
