M suffering from lax hiatal opening,sliding hiatus hernia,b/d reflux esophagitis does it call as (GERD)

Just an old doctor's empirical diagnosis after recurrent pain near the appendix region for a year. Did not have any other symptoms at that time. Have mild pain in that area again. And no conclusive findings again. But the weakness and sinking feeling is similar as 16 yrs ago. Can it be TB recurring? Pls advice.
