Hi Docs, My brother-in-law is suffering from Liver Inflammation due to alcohol, Its Grade 3 level damage, Docs have tried everything bt its not working, so they have suggested Steriod Shots..is this good ? will this work ?

I am unable to digest food and get severe pain in chest(front & back). Anything I eat I vomit. Towards the end of vomit I get bitter taste. Its a recurring event which happen every 1 or 2 month. And when it happens it lasts for 5-6 days. Consulted doctor many times, they says its gastritis but I feel it is some other medical condition. Please guide.
