Hi doctor, I'm suffering from idiopathic slow transit constipation and IBS predominant constipation. May I know whether both are same or different..I have symptoms like bloating, indigestion, abdominal pain and constipation all time.. suffering from this pblm over 10 yrs.. daily constipation.. having raisins soaked in water and drinking plenty of water, having lots of fruits and vegetables..followed low fodmap diet. but no use.. please suggest whether surgery s needed in this case. I'm too stressed bcoz f this issue..unable to go to work I can't concentrate in my work.. it's horrible..   daily pooping only by digital evacuation..

MY QUESTION IS FOR DR. RAHUL PODDAR    Is it true that when typhoid is not permanently cured its bacteria escapes and start residing in gall bladder and cause intermittent problems to the patient resulting in relapses and other problems ? Someone told me that it's nearly impossible to detect such type of bacteria which resides in gall bladder by blood culture or stool culture because they don't show up easily and frequently. What are the antibiotics given to treat such type of complex, dormant & subtle bacteria which starts residing in gall bladder ? When culture can't detect the strain of bacteria so how to select the antibiotic for its treatment ?Which test can detect this sort of bacteria ? I have had antibiotics such as faropenem, moxifloxacin, prulifloxin, azithromycin, cefixime, cedpodoxime and ofloxacin, cefuroxime axetil but nothing has worked till date to resolve this issue. What are the antibiotics which can resolve this issue ? Reports attached with period of 2.5 yrs.

Hello I want to ask that can I take zandu pancharishta for indigestion, constipation. As I am diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis with liver cirrhosis. As the label on bottle shows self generated alcohol 11%. So is it safe to take it or please suggest any alternate medicine. Please reply ASAP.

Hello from past 7 days I am suffering from acidity and feeling like vomiting. And I am having trouble having motions. I have to go to bathroom 4-5 times in a day. Heartburn is also there. Have been having loose motions, vomiting, fever (99°F to 100°F) since past three days. Was prescribed with OFLOX TZ, Pantoprozole, Paracetamol. Whenever I eat something I'm not able to swallow it and feels like vomitting. Stomach is rumbling around the navel and too much acidity (burping now and then) It has been 3 days and loose motions Haven't stopped not even able to eat.
