Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

It's been 3 months that the toe of my left leg got infected by ingrown nial infection. Initially there was swelling at the tip and pus started to release from the nail corner, after some days a small fleshy lump has developed there at nail corner. Condotion is much more better now. I got it treated but should i cut it surgically to completely cure as it wad advised by some experienced person. Is there any other option rather than cutting.

From last week I hav developed welts kind of hives on my skin and it causes itching .I consulted some doctor .He suggested me to take lotion caloform and some.medicine which i colud not take as it has benadryl kind of component which makes me feel sleepy throught out the day.what should i do.i am a thyroid as well as diabetic patient.please guide me
